LOS ANGELES LATINO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

ALL ACCESS – (Access to all Films, Panels, Nightly Receptions, Filmmakers Café, Galas and Festival Catalog)

  • Ticketed Access to all regular screenings only during the Festival.
The Festival will screen features, documentaries and short films representing many different countries from the United States, Latin America to Spain.  The films will be in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.  All foreign language films are subtitled in English.  Screenings begin at 6pm.   Most of the films are followed by a Q&A session with a representative of the film usually the director, producer or actor.
  • Access to Industry Office. The Industry Office serves as a place to promote film sales, review distribution availability and meet with the filmmakers themselves.  It is a concierge for the industry and filmmakers at the festival, in addition to providing information on the Festival events it will also have a limited video library of works at the festival.  This area is exclusive to filmmakers and registered Industry members only, with the LALIFF staff available to facilitate any needs.
  • Access to the Filmmakers Lounge.  The Café will be open to filmmakers, entertainment industry professionals, VIP's and Sponsors to meet, greet and enjoy refreshments.  Clips of Festival films, interviews with the filmmakers and footage from the Festival's special events run daily on monitors located throughout the Café.  The Café has Wireless Internet and an open bar for pass holders from 5pm to Midnight daily.
  • Access to all Panels and Workshops. This year LALIFF will offer a Filmmakers Workshop in addition to a series of Panels where attendees can interact with and learn from experts in the entertainment business, financiers, CEOs, filmmakers, talent and industry executives.

This pass is for Executives working in the Entertainment Industry (distributors, sales agents, Studio Executives etc.). They must have a business card and the request needs to be on company stationary.

LALIFF Opening Night Presentation & Gala will begin on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood with opening remarks from co-founders Edward James Olmos and Marlene Dermer, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and other special invited guests. Following the presentation guests will be treated to the Opening Night film, always a highlight of the festival. The Opening Night Gala will immediately follow the film at The Highlands in the Hollywood & Highland Center (4th level). LIMITED AMOUNT OF TICKETS WILL BE SOLD

Closing Night Awards Presentation & Gala will be presented at the famous Egyptian Theater on Wednesday August 25, 2010. The awards presented on this night will be Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Opera Prima, Best Documentary, Best Short, Best Film and the coveted Audience Award. After the Awards Presentation, we will present a never before seen film – always a USA or West Coast premiere. The Closing Night Gala will immediately follow the film on the Lot. Pass holders and ticket holders will only be guaranteed admission until 20 minutes prior to scheduled screening. After this time, remaining seats will be sold to wait-listed customers. Pass holders and voucher holders must show their pass or exchange their voucher for an admission ticket to the screening at the box office. Pass holders and ticket holders will only be guaranteed admission to the Galas if you RSVP. If not the remaining seats will be sold to wait-listed customers.
