Let’s go with Pancho Villa! is the disenchanting story about the Mexican revolution and a group of ranchers who due to their courage earned the nickname of “los leones de San Pablo” (the Lions of St. Peter). They were integrated in the north division under the orders of Francisco Villa and died without any kind of recognition for their heroism. The last one of the Leones has an epiphany that the revolution is a fruitless and pointless war. He feels that the inability of General Francisco Villa to lead and his vulnerability to fear and betrayal goes against the ideals of the war. The moment he realizes this, the last Leon decides to abandon the war.
¡Vámonos con Pancho Villa! es una visión desencantada de la revolución mexicana sobre un grupo de rancheros que por su valentía son apodados los leones de san pablo. Estos se incorporan a la llamada división del norte bajo las órdenes de francisco villa y mueren sin el mínimo reconocimiento a su heroísmo. El ultimo de ellos al descubrir que la revolución es una lucha estéril y sin sentido y que el general francisco villa es capaz de traicionar, sentir miedo e ir en contra del ideal por el que se lucha, decide abandonar la revolución.
