Madeinusa, a 14-year-old girl with a sweet Indian face, lives in a remote village in the Peruvian Andes. The religious fervor of the town has an unusual twist: from Good Friday until Easter Sunday, the people can do anything they want. Since God is dead during those three days, He cannot see them so they behave without feeling any remorse or regret. But when Salvador, a young geologist from Lima arrives, this tradition is put into question and the girl’s destiny will be changed forever.
Madeinusa es una niña de 14 años, de dulce rostro indígena, que vive en un pueblo perdido de la cordillera peruana. El fervor religioso de los lugareños tiene una característica peculiar: del Viernes Santos al Domingo de Pascua, la gente puede hacer lo que le viene en gana. Como durante esos tres días Dios está muerto y no los ve, los pobladores obran sin remordimiento alguno. Pero la llegada de Salvador, un joven geólogo de Lima, no sólo cuestiona esta tradición sino que cambiará, sin quererlo, el destino de la muchacha.
