Luciano, who has just come out of prison, is taken by his brother Flórido to work as a servant at the house of a rich woman, Alfreda. He is surprised when she tells him that her wish is to see the apparition of the Virgin Mary. While listening to the ranting of the lady, he wonders if it’s not enough to have an Aston Martin and a Jaguar in the garage and a closet full of clothes. Alfreda says she will not rest until she sees the Virgin Mary and asks her some questions. In the meantime, Quinta, the falsifier, says he has found a solution. In Bahia, Alfreda’s husband listens to music…
Luciano acaba de salir de la cárcel. Su hermano Flórido lo lleva a la casa de Alfreda, una mujer rica, para la cual trabajará. Se sorprende cuando ella le dice que su deseo es ver una aparición de la Virgen María. Luciano, obligado a escuchar el monotema de la señora, se pregunta si no es suficiente tener un Aston Martin y un Jaguar en el garage y un ropero lleno de ropa. Alfreda señala que no descansará hasta que no vea a la Virgen y pueda hacerle algunas preguntas. Mientras tanto, el falsificador Quinta dice que ha encontrado la solución. Y en Bahia el marido de Alfreda escucha música…
